Enjoy a seamless and comfortable travel experience on one of Switzerland’s most picturesque train routes connecting Interlaken with Montreux up to four times a day, offering uninterrupted views of the breathtaking panorama.
The trip starts in picturesque Interlaken and continues via Gstaad, Château-d’Oex and Montbovon to Montreux, the journey’s final stop. Of course, you can also start your trip in Montreux.
Interlaken is a great base for numerous activities and boasts incredible views of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Luxurious Gstaad is known for its charming chalets and is a favourite holiday spot among stars and winter sports enthusiasts alike.
Château-d’Oex is known for its hot air balloons and, with a little luck, you might spot one aloft. Montreux, of course, is home to the annual Montreux Jazz Festival.

Due to limited seating capacity, reservations are mandatory in “Prestige” and strongly recommended for 1st and 2nd class travel. This is in addition to a valid ticket for the selected travel class.

Initially, the total amount for the ticket and reservation will be shown to you. At a later booking stage, when asked to fill in the passenger's details, you have the option to select "reservation only" under Ticket/Refund.
The train platform is located at Interlaken Ost Train Station, close to the intersection of Untere Bonigstrasse and Allmendstrasse. Passengers should find the exact platform based on the departure time and the destination.
