Johannesburg: Experience our city with a 2-Day Itinerary

This 2-day tour shows you the Apartheid past, under the old Apartheid Government, and a glimpse into the new Constitution, Day 2 will be a fun day out on a cableway and wine tasting adventure.
Day 1:
We offer private, professional and personalised tours including pick up and drop off service from within a 50km radius of Sandton City.

This full day Cultural Tour takes you deep inside the dark Apartheid past, giving you a first hand account of how it was to live under the old Apartheid Government, and then a glimpse into the future under the new Constitution.

This tour includes:

• 08:30am Hotel pick up
• 09:00am Sandton Business District drive by
• 09:30am Constitution Hill (1-hour tour)
• 11:00am Johannesburg CBD drive by
• 11:30am Apartheid Museum (2-hour free time)
• 13:00pm Soweto drive through
• 14:00pm Sakhumzi Restaurant (lunch own account)
• 15:00pm Nelson Mandela House (30min tour)
• 15:30pm FNB Stadium (2010 World Cup drive by)
• 16:00pm Hotel drop off

Bottled water will be provided during the tour, we have a comfortable 4x4 SUV with air conditioner.

Day 2:
Enjoy a Cape Wine Tasting and Aerial Cableway experience in Johannesburg.

08h30am - You will be collected from the collection point. Collection time is strictly 08h30am, and dependent on traffic conditions you will be transported approx. 1-hour to the cableway in Hartbeespoort.

09h30am - arrive at the Harties Cableway for your Aerial Cableway experience, you will enjoy a short ride up the cableway and have an hour and a half free time to spend on top of the mountain enjoying the views of the Magaliesburg mountain range and the Hartbeespoort dam. There are two restaurants (360 Degree Bistro and Pizza Shack) plus some activities on top of the mountain that you can enjoy at your own leisure. Enjoy a drink at the Look Out Deck Bar (not included in the price)

11h00am - after your cableway experience, make your way down to the bottom cable station and dependent on traffic conditions you will be transported approx. 1-hour to the Indaba Hotel, Tasting Room for your wine tasting.

12h00pm - enjoy a Cape Wine Tasting including a cheese platter for two. Enjoy sipping and savouring on the finest wines from various wine farms from South Africa. Friendly, knowledgeable staff are on hand to take you through the various wines and you will be able to purchase wines for your further enjoyment at home after the wine tasting. This experience is set in beautiful leafy gardens and The Tasting Room resembles that of an Old Dutch wine farmhouse, giving you that authentic Cape Wine experience. You will have an hour and a half free time to relax and enjoy the wine tasting.

13h30pm - you will be transported back to your original point of collection.
