Day 1: Your adventure begins as you are greeted at the airport in Colombo or Negombo. From there, we venture down south, where you'll embark on a captivating boat safari through the enchanting Mangrove Forest. Afterward, settle into your accommodation and in the evening, visit a turtle hatchery for a heartwarming experience of releasing baby turtles into the sea at sunset.
Day 2: After a delightful breakfast, we set off to explore the historic Galle Fort before journeying to Udawalawe. In the evening, immerse yourself in the wilderness with an exhilarating game drive at Udawalawe National Park. Don't miss the chance to visit the Elephant Transit Home before retiring for the night in Udawalawe.
Day 3: Indulge your senses as we head to Ella, stopping along the way to witness traditional curd and pottery making. Prepare for an adventure-filled hike to the breathtaking Diyaluma Waterfalls, where you can luxuriate in an infinity nature pool amidst stunning surroundings before returning to Ella.
Day 4: After breakfast, marvel at the architectural wonder of the Nine Arch Bridge before embarking on a scenic train journey to Haputale. Experience the local charm with a tuk-tuk ride to Lipton's Seat, offering panoramic views of the verdant tea plantations.
Day 5: Rise early for a mesmerizing hike to Ella Rock, followed by a hearty breakfast. Then, embark on a picturesque train ride from Nanu Oya to Kandy, passing through tea plantations and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival in Kandy, enjoy the panoramic views from a tea plantation viewpoint before checking into your hotel.
Day 6: Explore the cultural treasures of Kandy with a visit to the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic. Afterward, journey to Matale for an invigorating hike along Sudu Ganga before transferring to Habarana for a relaxing evening.
Day 7: Prepare for an adventure-packed day as we climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress and savor the refreshing taste of king coconut at the summit. Then, journey to Polonnaruwa, where you'll explore ancient ruins by bike, gaining insight into Sri Lanka's rich history and culture.
Day 8: After a fulfilling breakfast, embark on a serene Oruwa ride before bidding farewell to this enchanting land as we head back to the airport in Colombo, Negombo, or the southern region, filled with unforgettable memories of your Sri Lankan adventure.
