Utiel-Requena, a protected designation of origin, is located less than 1 hour from Valencia and is an area full of valleys and vineyards in which the main economic engine is wine.

This winemaking tradition dates back to the 7th century BC. and it is one of the oldest in the world.

And this excursion will fully delve into the villas par excellence where Valencian wine is produced:

You will discover the wine processes and the fields of the vineyards, thus being able in the season (August-September) to taste the grapes from the vine itself and in October to tread the grapes.

On the excursion, we will visit two places, one in Requena and the other in Utiel: first we will go to the Cuevas de la Villa and then we will do the tasting at the Vera de Estenas Winery.
