You will live a unique wine tourism experience at sunset in the exclusive enclave of Finca Testeina of Bodegas Vega de Yuco. We will take a guided tour with wine tasting and artisanal chocolate.
If you like sunsets and especially enjoying them in an idyllic setting such as the Protected Landscape of La Geria and the Natural Park of Los Volcanes de Lanzarote, this is your experience.
We will take a nice walk at sunset through the vineyard that is located at the foot of the 'Testeina' Volcano. On this guided tour you will be able to learn about the particularities and history of vine cultivation in Lanzarote, its varieties and characteristics, and discover how the art of turning the fruit of the vine into wine was carried out in the 19th century.
We will also discover the before and after of the volcanic eruptions of Timanfaya (1730-1736), the resurgence of viticulture on the island, the historical and ethnographic values linked to the important culture of water and the history hidden behind the walls of the Testeina manor house and farmhouse. The first documented references to this emblematic house appear in the 16th century by the historian and writer of the Canarian Enlightenment Viera y Clavijo.
To finish the experience, we will have a commented tasting of two of the best wines from Bodegas Vega de Yuco. The wine tasting will be paired with chocolate bonbons, made by an artisan workshop on the island.

* The tour of the vineyard and house is not recommended for PRM, however, with prior communication with the winery, you can access the tasting room and wine cellar with your vehicle to carry out the tasting with chocolate pairing and enjoy the views of the vineyard and Los Volcanes Natural Park from this space.
The toilets are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
