"This fascinating tour will take you through Madrid's most iconic neighborhoods, where urban art has transformed the streets into an open-air gallery. We start at Glorieta de Embajadores in front of the Tabacalera, a space full of vibrant murals. Here you will discover the origins of graffiti in Madrid and its cultural impact. We continue through Lavapiés, a multicultural neighborhood where artists like Boa Mistura and TVBoy have left their mark. We will visit iconic murals such as Okuda's Mono and the works of Suso 33, a pioneer of Madrid graffiti. In addition, we will explore the vibrant murals of Mina Hamada and Zosen, masters of neo-fauvism.
The tour will also take us to the Plaza de Antón Martín, where we will contemplate the famous "Abrazo" by Juan Genovés, symbol of the reconciliation of the two Spains. We finish in Moratín Street, in the historic neighborhood of Las Letras, with a work by the Cuban artist Gerada and the famous mural of languages that reflects the multiculturalism of Madrid.
