It was a popular destination for international tourists who were brought there by buses. Unfortunately, it had to close again in 1974 due to alleged financial problems. Since then, it has decayed and is covered with unique graffiti. The second spot is more of a mystical nature. Ibiza’s Stonehenge is an impressive sculpture of 13 basalt columns standing on a steep cliff in the west of Ibiza. It was created in 2014 by the Australian land artist Andrew Rogers, who was inspired by the space tourist Guy Laliberté. The sculpture represents the solar system, with the largest and gold-covered column symbolizing the sun. The other columns are arranged according to the Fibonacci sequence, which reflects a pattern in nature. Ibiza’s Stonehenge is a place that conveys the magical Ibiza feeling and attracts many visitors who enjoy the art and the view.
