You will enjoy a scenic ride through some of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, and see the more modern Olympic developments. Riding at a relaxed pace, with many stops to enjoy the laid-back Spanish ambiance, breathe in the fresh sea air, and escape the city center’s hectic traffic.
The scenic ride begins in the historic quarter of Barceloneta, Barcelona’s famous fishing district. Cycle past Port Vell, once home to fishermen and sailors, and soak up the maritime mood of the salty harbor.
The area is also home to Barceloneta Beach, one of the city’s most popular spots for people-watching and sightseeing. Keep pedaling towards the Olympic Port, site of the 1992 Olympic Games.
