Isimangaliso Wetlands Park Full Day Tour From Durban

Visit Isimangaliso Wetlands Park for a hippo & croc boat cruise as well as a game drive at this World Heritage Site, one of the most beautiful places in South Africa.
Depart from Durban at 6am and head to St Lucia Estuary, Isimangaliso for a 2 hour hippo & croc boat cruise. This is followed by a game drive in Isimangaliso Park after lunch. We return to Durban in late afternoon arriving back at around 6pm.

Enjoy a leisurely cruise around South Africa's stunning St Lucia Estuary (iSimangaliso Wetland Park). Keep an eye out for crocodiles and hippos as you meander through wetland waters, along with possible sightings of eagles, vultures, African broadbills and dozens of other bird species. Enjoy onboard snacks (own expense) as you travel, savoring the surrounding scenery. This trip includes the expertise of a professional guide.

After lunch we go for a game drive in the Isimangaliso Wetlands Park. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope and a lot more animal species. The iSimangaliso Wetlands Park was declared South Africa's first Natural World Heritage Site in 1999. The reserve is considered South Africa's third largest park with its’ unique ecosystem spanning over 280km of near pristine coastline and 328k hectares of magnificent scenery. The protected area is home to one of the largest population of hippopotami in SA as well as an estimated 1000 crocodiles. Isimagaliso has a wealth of plant, bird and animal life, including zebra, African elephant, leopard, giraffe, black and southern white rhino and fish eagles.

We return to Durban in late afternoon.
