Uncover the lush beauty of the Franschhoek Valley on a hop-on hop-off tram and bus tour. Travel by air-conditioned bus from Cape Town and hop aboard the tram which stops at wine estates. Savor a range of wines while you take in the views from the tram.
Available tram routes vary depending on the day of operation.
Navy Line: (Multiple pick up points)
You will depart Cape Town at 8:30 AM and head to the Franschhoek Valley. Arrive at the Groot Drakenstein station in the Franschhoek Valley by motor coach and board your choice of tram line (clockwise and counterclockwise) stopping at Zorgvliet, Vrede and Lust, Solms Delta, Plaisir de Merle, Camberley, Le Pommier, Boschendal, or Allee Bleue.
The circular routes stop at any of the wine estates with the tram or tram bus passing every 60 minutes. Hop-on-hop-off at your preferred wine estates. Wine-tasting fees are excluded and payable on the day.
Each of the lines has a wide selection of wine estates to visit, from boutique to marquee estates, and offers a unique perspective on the Franschhoek wine experience. At 4:45 PM, head back to the bus for your return to Cape Town.

Tour pickup is only from many easily found, pre-defined pickup points.
You will receive an email from us at 08h00 the day before your tour re-confirming arrangements. Please be on the lookout for it. It contains vital information! If you do not receive it, please check your GYG App, and your Junk or Spam email folder. Pleeeaaase read it carefully as all pick up start up to 30 minutes BEFORE the 08h30 final departure time listed on the voucher
8:30 AM is the final departure time from the last pick-up point at the V&A.
All other pick-ups happen up to 30 minutes before. Please make sure you receive our email the day before your tour and check it carefully for your departure time.
Please look for a Red & Blue "Xplorer" branded tour coach at the pickup point.

CBD: Depart City Sightseeing office, 81 Long Street at 8:00 AM
Sea Point 1: Depart bus stop in Queens Rd, cnr Alexander Roads at 8:05 AM
Sea Point 2: Depart bus stop on Beach Rd, 20m V&A side of St. Johns Rd, at 8:10 AM
Sea Point 3: Depart bus stop opposite the Winchester Mansions Hotel at 8:12 AM
Green Point: Depart bus stop on Beach Road, 50m on the V&A side of the Mouille Point Lighthouse at 8:16 AM
V&A Waterfront: Depart City Sightseeing Tour office (outside the 2 Oceans Aquarium) at 8:30 AM
