This tour takes you through the historic centre of Bratislava with its narrow cobblestone streets, colourful buildings and magnificent squares, such as the main square (Hlavné námestie), a real gem. Statues have been erected in many places around the city. You will get to know the most beautiful and interesting ones.
On your way through Bratislava you will also learn a lot about the cultural life of the city and be shown art galleries, theatres, museums, music clubs and beach clubs. This also includes an UFO!
Whether you explore the historical sights, relax on the banks of the Danube or sample the culinary delights, Bratislava will enchant you.
From the starting point of the tour at the Plague Column, you will visit the National Gallery, the National Theatre, the Old Market and the City Hall with its large observation tower. You'll visit a palace, delve into local music history, visit the umbrella street, the oldest shop in the city and the famous medieval city gate.
You'll meet Bratislava's originals Čumil and Beautiful Náci, the storyteller Hans-Christian Andersen and even Napoleon Bonaparte. Other highlights include the historic city wall, the imposing Martin's Cathedral and Slovakia's most beautiful church, the blue St. Elisabeth.
