Morazan: Between mountains and waterfalls

Explore the mountains of Morazán on a circuit through different waterfalls among places with Salvadoran history; you will enjoy 3 impressive waterfalls (El Chorrerón, Las Pilas and La Olomina), feel the life through the mountain forests and learn a lot about the history of El Salvador.

Itinarary:
- We leave your hotel at 8:00 hours.
- Technical stops (restrooms, snacks).
- Lunch on the road (not included).
- Arrival at the town of Perquin at 12:00 hours, where we will enter the museum of the revolution to learn about the recent history of El Salvador from the point of view of the revolutionary army.
- Arrival at El Chorrerón waterfall at 14:00 hours, a short 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the waterfall.
- Arrival at the lodge at 17:00 hours.
- Rooms will be delivered, time to relax and then dinner will be served at the place at the time indicated by the guide.
- The next day, breakfast is served at 07:00 hours.
- Boarding of the transport unit at 08:00 hours.
- Arrival at the village of El Mozote at 09:00 hours, where we will learn the history of one of the most violent massacres in the history of El Salvador.
- Boarding of 4x4 transport at 10:00 hours.
- Arrival at Las Pilas and La Olomina waterfalls at 11:00 hours. (You can choose not to use the 4x4 transportation and hike 2 hours to the site).
- We take a short 20 minute hike to visit Las Pilas and Olomina waterfalls.
- Boarding of the 4x4 transport at 13:00 hours.
- Boarding of the transport unit in the town of El Mozote at 14:00 hours.
- Return to the hotel where the tour began at approximately 19:00 hours.
