Feel like part of the crew as you help guide the wind-powered boat along the Douro River and enjoy the magnificent views of the riverside areas of Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto.
Departing from the convenient meeting point in Douro Marina, you'll have a pure sailing experience on a race boat while you can watch the magnificent views over Porto and Gaia river areas. Experience the unique feeling of using only the wind to move the boat and the adrenaline of moving on the water.
Over 2h30min you will have the opportunity to learn, experiment, and train basic knowledge whilst sailing in a modern racing boat. It will be an individual experience in which the skipper will have their attention fully focused on you.
You can trim the sails, drive the boat, and take care of the functions on board or you can just relax and let the skipper do everything. Depending on the wind conditions, you can have a more extreme experience or you can ask the skipper to slow down and take things more smoothly. Depending on the weather conditions we will also sail in the Atlantic Ocean!
This experience will happen even with rain, so make sure you bring proper clothes!
You will be enjoying the beautiful landscape around you and the unforgettable scenery of Porto and Gaia. It is never too late to start learning, and Porto is surely the ideal place to embrace this new passion.
