Depending on your skills and abilities, the guide will choose according to your preference for more specific trails, such as cross country, enduro and downhill.
You will have the opportunity to ride or just see the trails of the "Enduro World Series Madeira 2019".
Introdution:
Our adventure begins in Funchal and takes us through the charming village of Camacha before reaching the stunning mountains. The Poiso area, famous for its fantastic cycling experiences, will be the starting point of our adventure.
A small presentation and some recommendations are given by the guide. This will check each participant's abilities.
Starting the activity on a plateau with a spectacular view over the north coast of the island. The plan is to embark on unique trails, with the option of doing trails integrated in the Enduro World Series to flat dirt paths with low inclination, over a 3 to 5 hour journey, venturing along the scenic paths that will challenge you enough that they cover dirt roads and trails, and you can either have a relaxed trip or a test of your skills, where you can see some laurel, eucalyptus and pine trees.
You have the opportunity to have lunch or just have a refreshing drink, in a local restaurant, in a cozy place. Finally, we will end our journey with a calm part of a "levada".
Upon arrival at this serene spot, you will embark on a relaxed journey along this enchanting promenade, along which you will enjoy the peaceful and serene atmosphere, connecting with nature to the sound of the gentle flow of water. This is a perfect time to relax and enjoy the natural beauty around you.
After this experience, you will have the option to take a break for a delicious meal or simply enjoy a refreshing drink in a cozy local restaurant. This stop provides an opportunity to recharge your batteries and enjoy Madeiran hospitality and the region's charming atmosphere.
Finally, the journey will continue with a last part of the levada trail where you can explore more stunning landscapes and enjoy the natural charms that Levada da Serra do Faial has to offer.
