Take a breathtaking, relaxing ride up the hills of Funchal and witness stunning panoramic views. Visit Pináculo and Garajau with your professional tukxi driver and get the chance to enjoy a completely unique sightseeing tour.
Start your Garajau adventure in absolute convenience by meeting your driver/guide in the lobby of your Funchal located hotel room, or, at the terminal of your cruise ship. After a short meet and greet you will take a brief scenic drive to witness some of the best views the area has to offer.
With your driver/guide, start your ascent up the hills of Funchal. The particular route planned for your tour is designed to offer you unprecedented views of the city below, a view point that allows you to take in the city in all its glory. Your first stop on the tour will be at Pináculo - situated 280m above sea level and located on the edge of a cliff. Travel on through to Garajau, set at the east end of the bay of Funchal. Participants here will be offered a spectacular view of the "Christ the Redeemer" statue whilst marvelling at the crystal clear waters below.
Once you have taken in the sights of the bay, mountains and city of Funchal you will be transported back to your hotel to relax after a day of adventure.

Pick Up information: Available for free in hotels/accommodations in the Funchal City area.
Harbor Pick Up Add-On: An additional service for those being picked up from their cruise ship. Select 1 Add-on for each group in the "Order summary." Example: If the booking is "2 x Group up to 3," select 2 "Harbor pick up" Add-ons. If it is "1 x Group up to 3," select 1 "Harbor pick up" Add-on.
Purpose of the Add-On: Covers pick-up fees (5€ per group) imposed by Funchal's port authority.
• Due to legal restrictions, the maximum combined weight of the passengers must not exceed 210 kg
