With your personal local guide at the steering wheel take a scenic drive along the west coast to the famous fishing village of Câmara de Lobos.
Start your tuk-tuk adventure from the convenience of your hotel room in Funchal or cruise dock - here your driver will be to meet you. Set off in your tuk tuk with your informative driver and explore the tourist area of Funchal on your way to the village. Take a scenic drive in which modern buildings slowly turn into banana plants and a superb view over the Atlantic Ocean and the cliffs of Cabo Girão.
The fishing village of Camara de Lobos is famous for its picturesque looks, with colorful fishing boats in the dry dock right in the center of the village, a small bay and steep hills crowded with small old buildings. Once in the village you will have the opportunity to explore and learn about its history, culture and try some of the local delicacies.
On the way back to Funchal a stop at the volcanic polls of Doca do Cavacas will provide a final view over the ocean and cliffs of Cabo Girão before heading back to your accomodation.
