Enjoy a tour of Lisbon as soon as you arrive on your cruise ship. Your tour guide will meet you at the cruise port of Santa Apolónia and will take you through the old district of Alfama, located near the port. Along the way you will learn interesting information about Lisbon and experience the lifestyle and special atmosphere of the district.
From the lookout point Portas do Sol you can enjoy the fantastic views of the monastery of the patron saint of Lisbon, known as São Vicente de Fora, as well as the National Pantheon and your own cruise ship.
Descending the hill, you will first reach Lisbon Cathedral, the oldest and most important cathedral in the city. Continue on to the main squares in Lisbon that during the age of exploration were an important trading center on the riverside (Praça do Comércio), the old market square (Praça da Figueira), and the grandiose town square (Rossio Square).
The walking tour ends at this point. You can easily return to your cruise ship at the port on the city metro or continue exploring the city on your own.
