Join an exciting 4 day expedition, during this trip you will visit Sandoval Lake, Monkey Island and a Tapir Clay Lick. You will enjoy campfire nights listening to fascinating jungle stories.

Day 1: Introductory Walk - Caiman Sightings

-The exciting excursion begins with our departure from the meeting point at 9:30 am.
-We will navigate by boat on the Madre de Dios River until we arrive at our lodge.
-Once there, we will enjoy lunch and start the adventure with a jungle walk.
-During this tour, we will learn about medicinal plants and marvel at the majestic ancient trees. If we are lucky, we will also spot some monkeys, birds, insects and other animals.
-In the afternoon, we will go in search of caimans that come out to hunt, such as capybaras or picuros.
-Then, at 7:30 pm, we will have dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 2: Lake Sandoval - Fishing - Night Hike

-We will start the day with a delicious early breakfast. On this day, we will explore the enchanting Sandoval Lake, a natural paradise filled with a unique diversity of flora and fauna. If we are fortunate enough, we may spot river otters, turtles, monkeys and more.
-Afterwards, we will enjoy a comforting lunch.
-In the afternoon, we will go sport fishing, with the possibility of catching piranhas, pacos, gamitanas, catfish and other fish of the region.
-Then, we will venture on a night walk, where we will observe grasshoppers, reptiles, snakes, lizards and listen to the fascinating symphony of sounds of the jungle.
-Upon our return, a delicious dinner awaits us. Optionally, we will have a session around the campfire.

Day 3: Tapir Trail - Monkey Island Excursion

-We will start the day with an early and nutritious breakfast. On this day, we will explore the mammal lick, where we will be able to observe the Tapir feeding on minerals, as well as spot some jungle rodents.
-We will return to the lodge to enjoy lunch. After a brief rest, we will head by boat down the river to Monkey Island, where we will interact with some of these fascinating primates.
-In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner. Afterwards, we will have the option to participate in a jungle storytelling session around the campfire.
-Overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Kayak - Return to the City

-We will start the day with a nutritious breakfast before embarking on a kayaking activity on the Madre de Dios River, with the guidance of an instructor.
-During the tour, you will be able to admire the beauty of the butterflies fluttering on the banks, as well as observe turtles resting and other animals.
-After returning for lunch and preparing our belongings, we will return to the city.
