Venture into the Amazon Rainforest for 4 days and 3 nights in the Tambopata National Reserve, appreciate exotic species of plants and animals, canoe and kayak, you will live an exhuberant experience.
Day 1:
- The adventure will begin with pick up from the airport or your hotel. Feel the excitement as you are driven to your hotel on the banks of the Tambopata River, 4.5 kilometres from town.
- After orientation, begin your walk through the jungle. Watch for monkeys, birds, butterflies and other species. Learn about the importance of the area to local residents.
Day 2:
- We will head to Lake Sandoval located in the Tambopata National Reserve walking about 3km.
- We will take a canoe on the lake and learn about the surrounding ecosystem. If you are lucky, you may see monkeys, birds, squirrels, caimans, alligators, alligators, black, giant otters and possibly one of the largest aquatic fish, the Paish fish.
- We will head out at night in search of tarantulas, frogs and chirping insects.
Day 3:
- We start the day by visiting Monkey Island, where you will feel a lot of adrenaline as you walk across the high canopy bridges and zip lines. Kayak down the river and climb the walls.
Day 4:
- This day you can admire the beautiful Yacumama Lake, where you can catch piranhas and observe baby macaws and storks.
