Puerto Maldonado: Tambopata National Reserve 4-Days

Discover the incredible flora and fauna that the Tambopata National Reserve has and live a unique experience getting to know the impressive attractions that the Peruvian jungle has.
Day 1: Tambopata – Jungle walk

The tour begins with pickup from the airport or land terminal, we will be transported in a vehicle to enter the jungle near the shore of the Tambopata River, a boat is waiting for us to take us to our hotel.
After settling in the cabins we will have a walk to observe the jungle fauna. We will return to the camp to have dinner, while they explain to us the activities we will do the next day.

Day 2: Macaw Clay Lick

On this day we will get up very early to be able to enjoy an incredible sunrise that the jungle offers us. We will go to see the largest macaw clay lick in the world, where 11 species of macaws gather in search of clay to complement their diet. After this activity we will go to our cabins to have lunch and rest a little.
The excursion continues on the Madre de Dios River where we will take a boat ride until we reach Lake Sandoval, where our accommodation is located and is located in front of the monkey island.
At night we will have a night walk where we can take some photographs of the alligators.

Day 3: Sandoval Lake

This day begins with a 3-kilometer walk along a trail until you reach Lake Sandoval, this place is a jewel for the Tambopata Natural Reserve. We will tour the lagoon in a traditional canoe, we will be able to observe different species of birds.
We can also observe some monkeys and see some otters. At the end of the activity we will return to the lodge to eat and rest.
At night we will have a night walk to appreciate the variety of insects and amphibians.

Day 4: Zipline circuit – Puerto Maldonado

For this day we will wake up very early to enter the jungle and begin this adventure activity on the zip line circuit that consists of sliding 30 meters high above the trees.
At the end of this activity we will return to the hotel and leave for the city of Puerto Maldonado, where the incredible tour ends.
