Spend a day in the Tambopata jungle exploring the splendid Sandoval Lake, where you will have the opportunity to observe animals such as river otters, birds and turtles, among others.
-We will start the excursion from our pick-up point at 9:00 a.m., traveling to the port to board a boat that will take us down the Madre de Dios River to our lodge.
-Then, we will head to the entrance of the Tambopata Reserve and hike for an hour to reach Sandoval Lake.
-Upon arrival, we will take a paddle canoe to explore the beautiful lake, where, with luck, we may spot river otters, birds, turtles and other animals.
-Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Those interested will have the option of swimming in Lake Sandoval, following the instructions of our guide.
-Finally, we will return to the city of Puerto Maldonado.
The tour will end at approximately 5 pm.
