Macaw Clay Clay 2 Days | Macaw Clay Lick – Hikes

Enjoy an incredible 2-Day Macaw Clay Lick excursion in the Tambopata jungle for 2 days. We will go on a walk to explore the area. We will have an incredible view from the observation tower
Observation Tower + Night Walk
Day 1
We will begin this excursion from our meeting point at 9:30 a.m. We will travel towards km 49, upon arrival we will cross the jungle in the vehicle until we reach the top of the river, from here we will navigate to the lodge.
You will be received with a welcome drink and we will have a brief explanation of the lodge where we will spend the night.
Once settled we will have lunch at 1:00 p.m., after this we will have a walk in the jungle, where we will learn about some medicinal plants and giant trees.
We will visit a 50 meter high observation tower, from here we will have an incredible view of the jungle, we will also be able to see and hear some birds such as toucans, parrots, among others. From here we will enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Before returning to the lodge we will take a night walk in search of insects, frogs, toads, tarantulas and reptiles that come out only at night.

Macaw Clay Lick
Day 2
We will start the day very early, we will leave at 4:30 a.m. to navigate one hour to the famous Macaw Clay Clay Chuncho, along the way there is the possibility of seeing some animals such as jaguar, tapir, deer and others.
Upon arriving at our destination we will settle in and wait patiently for the arrival of these beautiful birds. The guide will give us all the information. We will have breakfast on site with the incredible view of the macaws.
We will return to the hostel to enjoy a delicious lunch, then we will get our things ready and return to the city.
