Programme Day 1: Pacaya Samiria Expedition

We will start the day by picking you up from your hotel in Iquitos. We will depart for Nauta, a charming town that serves as the entrance to the Amazon rainforest. We will meet you at the picturesque pier, ready to begin our adventure. We will embark on an exciting journey down the mighty Marañon River, where we will witness the majestic meeting of the Amazon River with the Ucayali River, known as Ucamara.

Dolphin Encounter: We will marvel at the beauty of the gray and pink dolphins as we navigate the waters of the Amazon. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the Yarapa River, also called the river of dark waters, experiencing the unique energy of the Amazon jungle.

Typical lunch on board: We will taste a delicious lunch prepared with fresh ingredients from the region, while sailing among the impressive Amazonian landscapes. We will observe wildlife in its natural habitat, from playful monkeys to exotic birds among the lush vegetation.

Piranha fishing: Try your hand at fishing for piranhas and other species native to the Amazon! Contemplate the grandeur of nature as you marvel at the majestic giant trees that dominate the Amazon landscape.
Return and end of the tour: With your heart full of memories and unforgettable experiences, we will return to the pier and transfer you back to your hotel.
