From Iquitos || Tour to the Amazon, Nanay and Momon rivers||

On this trip to the Amazon we will explore the largest and most abundant river on the planet from a boat. What creatures will cross our path?
Program Reception at the established time (9:30 am), transfer to the port of Bellavista, located on the banks of the Nanay River, where we will embark to begin our expedition. We will sail first to contemplate the union of the waters of the Amazon River and the Nanay River. Then we will continue our journey until we reach the indigenous community of the KUKAMAS, who will share with us their language, songs, dances and traditional crafts. Afterwards, we will visit the Maravilla de las Amazonas Serpentarium Rescue Center, where we will be able to admire a varied collection of animals, including monkeys, toucans, parrots, prehistoric turtles, sloths and more.

We will return to the boats to go to the agricultural and artisanal community “PADRE COCHA”. From there, we will hike or take a motorcycle cab (cost not included) to the butterfly farm EL PIlPINTUHUASI, where we will observe the fascinating process of metamorphosis of butterflies, from their initial stages as eggs to become beautiful butterflies, as well as meet other native animals.
Back on the boats, we will navigate the Momon River to visit the Boras Indians, participating in their emblematic dance of the anaconda and admiring their elaborate handicrafts made with materials from the jungle. Finally, we will head to the floating restaurant to enjoy a lunch with typical, regional and Creole food. This place offers various recreational activities such as volleyball and soccer courts, jet skis and a natural pool where you can swim (swimsuit optional).

Transfer back to the meeting point. The itinerary may be adjusted by the operator to ensure the safety of travelers and the best experience throughout the service. Absence on the day of service will be considered as “Performed” with no right to claim, rescheduling or refund.
