We will explore the Ballestas Islands aboard a speedboat. Then, we will head to a vineyard to taste wine and pisco. Next, we will continue to the Huacachina Oasis, where we will watch the sunset.
**05:00 to 5:10 a.m. - Pick-up from hotels in Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco, and the historic center.**
9:40 AM - Our first stop will be at the marina dock to pass through the SERNANP control and wait to board our speedboat to the Ballestas Islands. For approximately two hours, we'll immerse ourselves in the marvelous marine world. We'll begin by stopping at the sand figure known as "The Candelabro," where our guide will explain the various theories about its purpose. We’ll continue sailing with the sea breeze on our faces until we reach the islands, surrounded by abundant marine life. Sea lions, Humboldt penguins, countless guano birds, and, if we’re lucky, a curious dolphin or two await us. You won't want to put your camera away!
Next, we'll travel to Ica, a journey of about an hour, to visit the "El Catador" winery or a similar location. Here, we'll enjoy lunch, tour the winery, and have an exquisite tasting of local wines and piscos.
Afterward, we’ll head to the Huacachina Oasis. We'll disembark to board the dune buggies, which will take us on an exhilarating ride up and down the endless dunes of Ica. We'll also slide down the highest dunes on sandboards. After this adrenaline-pumping experience, you'll have ample time to stroll around the oasis, take photos, watch the sunset at Huacachina, and make any last-minute purchases. This unforgettable day promises a blend of adventure, relaxation, and stunning natural beauty.
5:00 P.M board the sand cart to appreciate the magical sunset.
6:30 P.M. Return to Lima.
