The Best of Lima in 2 Days (Exclusive for Groups)

Explore the main historical, cultural and natural points of interest in Lima and Ica.
FIRST DAY

We start the tour by picking up each traveler from their hotel or Airbnb in Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro or Downtown Lima, at no additional cost. For those staying in Callao, Magdalena or the Airport, there will be an additional charge of $10 for both pick up and return.

We leave for the beach resort of Paracas in a tourist mobility, a trip of approximately 4 hours. We arrive at the Port of Paracas, known as El Chaco, and visit the Ballestas Islands to observe the famous Candelabro and the diverse marine fauna, including guano birds, Humboldt penguins and sea lions.

We then head to Ica, where we enjoy an included lunch at Hacienda El Catador. We visit the Bodega Lazo, an old facility where we learn about the artisanal production of wine and pisco since 1809. The visit includes a tasting of wines, piscos and other local beverages.

Finally, we arrive at the Huacachina Oasis, a beautiful lake surrounded by sand dunes. Here visitors can relax, explore the surroundings and participate in adventure activities such as buggy rides and sandboarding.

We return to Lima, arriving at approximately 22:00 hrs.

SECOND DAY

We start the day picking up travelers from their hotels or Airbnbs.

First stop at the Parque del Amor in Miraflores, a romantic park overlooking the sea and the central sculpture "El Beso" by Peruvian sculptor Victor Delfin.
We continue with a panoramic visit to the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana, a sacred complex of the Lima culture.

Then we explore the historic center of Lima, walking through its main squares, historic streets, churches and colonial buildings, including the Plaza Mayor where the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop's Palace and the Government Palace stand out.

We visit the ChocoMuseo to learn about the history of chocolate in Peru and enjoy tastings of chocolate and cocoa liqueurs and jams.

We continue to the Casa de la Literatura Peruana, former Desamparados station, to learn more about Peruvian literature and explore artisan stores.

Finally, we enter the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs for a guided tour, exploring one of the oldest cemeteries in the city.

The tour concludes with participants returning to their hotels, with the option of staying downtown for lunch or dinner on their own.
