Travel from Cusco to Puno along the ancient Ruta del Sol on a full day tour. See the Sistine Chapel of Andahuaylillas, visit Raqchi and the Litico Pukara museum.
Take a bus from Cusco to Puno, stop at the Church of Andahuaylas and the Temple of Raqchi, enjoy a buffet lunch, pass through the Abra de la Raya border between Cusco and Puno and visit the Pukara Lithic Museum.

Start the excursion with hotel pick up and transfer to the bus station. Board the bus, start a journey enjoying the beautiful Andean landscape until you reach your first destination, the church of Andahuaylillas. There you can admire its famous murals, gold leaf art and Cusquenian school paintings.

Next, head to Raqchi, also known as the Temple of Wiracocha, the Inca creator god. Here, observe the numerous storehouses called colcas and stroll through the amazing mud constructions. Afterwards, savor a traditional buffet lunch made with local ingredients.

After lunch, continue to La Raya, the highest point marking the border between Cusco and Puno and the starting point of the Amazon River. Then, before the transfer ends, visit the Pukara Lithic Museum in Puno.
