Private Tour Excursion to the Humantay Lagoon+ buffet Lunch

In this excursion to the Humantay Lagoon we will ascend to more than 4000 meters of altitude to visit a spectacle of nature located in the Andes Mountains, a unique trekking route in Peru!
Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel in Cusco at the indicated time, we will go by bus to the Humantay Lagoon, located in the middle of the Andes Mountains.

After a two and a half hour drive, we will make the first stop of the excursion in the village of Mollepata, located at almost 3000 meters above sea level. There we will enjoy an energetic breakfast. Is there a better way to start the day?

Later, we will continue touring the spectacular landscapes of this Peruvian region for an hour and a half until we reach the Challacancha, at 3900 meters altitude. It will be here where we will start the trekking route to the Humantay Lagoon, a turquoise lagoon surrounded by imposing glaciers.

During the two-hour walk, we will ascend up to 4200 meters and delight ourselves with the local fauna and flora. The effort will be worth it, because when we reach the lagoon you will be able to admire a unique landscape.

After getting to know this natural environment, we will return to Challacancha to get back on the bus. We will stop again in Mollepata to regain strength and satisfy our appetite with a buffet lunch. After lunch, we will start our way back to Cusco.

Finally we will leave you in the hotel after 13 hours of hiking.
