Day 1:

Start with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. Head south of Cusco to the town of Cusipata where there is stop for breakfast. Continue along the road to the starting point of the hike.

Pass through small villages, seeing typical fauna and flora before arriving at the foothills of the snowy Ausangate mountain. Stop to refuel with a delicious lunch before beginning the ascent to the circular lagoon. Walk by shepherds, extensive grasslands, and see hundreds of alpacas.

Arrive at the Circular Lagoon where you can watch the sunset surrounded by a beautiful waterfall and nature, at the end of the day have dinner and a bonfire.

Day 2:

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast while soaking up privileged views of the mountains before tackling the incline on Rainbow Mountain. Reach an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level, arriving at the place where you can explore and capture incredible photos.

Visit the famous red valley, then make your descent by the same road to Chillca. Relax with a tasty lunch in the afternoon and return to the city of Cusco.
