As the sun rises, we continue our expedition towards Soraypampa, another hour's drive away. The journey is filled with stunning views of the Andean landscape, providing a taste of the beauty that lies ahead.

Upon reaching Soraypampa, we prepare for the highlight of our adventure: the hike to Laguna Humantay. At an altitude of 4200 meters above sea level, the air is crisp and the scenery is breathtaking. As we ascend, marvel at the majestic peaks of Salkantay and Humantay, standing tall against the backdrop of the azure sky.

The hike from Soraypampa to Laguna Humantay spans approximately 3 kilometers and takes about 1.5 hours. While the trail is considered easy to moderate, it offers moments of challenge and serenity. For those seeking a smoother journey, horse rentals are available.
