Cusco: Excursion Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley Full day

Beautiful high Andean landscapes with extensive snow-capped mountains and large glaciers are now completely uncovered with snow showing its unique natural pigment.
We start with the pick up from your hotel between 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. to then make a 2 hour trip to Cusipata where you will have a delicious breakfast.

Then we will continue our route until we arrive to Phullawasipata (4626 m.a.s.l.) where we will get ready to start the hike, first it will be approximately 1 hour and a half to 2 hours of climbing, where we can see beautiful landscapes with many mountains covered with snow, local people with typical costumes of the area and breeders of llamas and alpacas, besides the beautiful high Andean landscape of the Cordillera Vilcanota.

When we reach the top (5036 m.a.s.l.) we will have some free time to take pictures, then we will start descending this time through the Red Valley, the name is due to the special pigmentation of the soil that has a reddish color due to the abundant amount of mineral.

The road will take about 2 and a half to 3 hours to reach Phullawasipata where our transport will be waiting to take us to enjoy a well-deserved and delicious lunch.

Then we will take our transportation to return to Cusco (arrival between 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.) we finish the tour one block from the Plaza de Armas.
