The majestic Misti Volcano, imposing guardian of Arequipa, rises 5,822 meters above sea level. Its impressive profile and natural surroundings captivate adventurers, offering them a unique experience in the heart of the Peruvian Andes.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arequipa - Misti Volcano
-We will start our excursion by picking you up at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., followed by a transfer in a 4x4 vehicle.
-We will head to Misti Volcano by the Chiguata route and, after a two-hour drive, we will reach an altitude of 3300 meters above sea level.
-Then, our exciting adventure will begin with a hike up the slope of the volcano, which will take us approximately 6 hours, during which we can enjoy the magnificent scenery that this place offers us.
-At the end of the day, we will arrive at our campsite where we will have dinner and rest until the next day.
Day 2: Misti Volcano - Arequipa
-We will start our second day with an energetic and comforting breakfast, consisting of tortillas, toast and a hot drink.
-After breakfast, we will start our hike to the summit of Misti volcano, located at 5825 meters above sea level.
-Once at the summit, we will have enough time to capture spectacular photographs and admire the impressive views that the Misti crater offers us.
-Finally, we will descend to 3300 meters, where the 4x4 vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Arequipa, arriving approximately at 14:00 hours.
