start: 6:15 am. Pick up from your hotel in Arequipa city, then we will start a 2:30 hours trip to san Antonio de Chuca (Arequipa - puno highway, Km. 154); previously we will have breakfast (not included in the price of the tour).
We will walk 1 Km. a short but somewhat cold route, so you should bring a windbreaker jacket.
when we arrive at the Pillones waterfalls we will see rocks shaped by water erosion, we will see vizcachas (Andean rodent) jumping among the rocks. You can descend to the waterfall but with great care, once there you can take pictures and enjoy the warm weather, flora and fauna of the region.
After visiting the beautiful waterfalls of Pillones, we will head towards the "Bosque de Piedras" of imata 150 km northeast of Arequipa (road to Puno, approximately 2.30 hours by car).
We will arrive at the picturesque village of imata and with our guide we will begin the trekking of approximately 30 minutes to the forest.
we will be able to see the forest of stones of imata, a natural place with strange rock formations and stone columns, where your imagination and fun will have no limits, you can take pictures and play with the shadows.
Finally on the way back, in coordination with the passenger, there is a stop for lunch.
4:30 pm approx. return to Arequipa.
