Explore the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, an internationally significant ecosystem that houses a great variety of wildlife, including native and migratory birds, South American camelids, diverse high Andean flora, and a spectacular view of the Salinas Lagoon and the large mountains that surround it, such as the Ubinas Volcano and Pichu Pichu.

Begin your tour in the Historic Center of Arequipa. The first stop is for breakfast in the town of Chiguata, where the landscape and Inca terraces make the visit an unforgettable experience. Ascend to the viewpoint of the Pichu Pichu volcano, at 4,300 meters above sea level. From this point, have another perspective of the Misti volcano and the city of Arequipa.

Observe extraordinary wildlife such as vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, and guanacos, and flora such as yaretales and queñuales. The next stop is the Salinas salt flats and water mirrors. Depending on the season, observe flamingos and optical illusions created by the water mirrors in this natural setting.

Head to the mini-volcano and Lojen hot springs for an optional refreshing dip. On the return, have lunch in the traditional town of Chiguata. Return to the city at approximately 4:30 PM.
