Arequipa: 3-Day Colca Canyon Trekking Tour

Embark on a 3-day trek to the Colca Canyon with a professional guide. Enjoy the stunning views of the canyon, observe the majestic flight of the condors, and learn about the local culture.
FIRST DAY:
The tour begins with the pick up from hotels 03:00 and 3:30am or directly on the Plaza de Armas at 2:50am then transfer to the Colca Canyon, after 3 hours of travel we will arrive at the town of CHIVAY, stopping to take our breakfast. Later we continue our journey towards the CROSS OF THE CONDOR, in this place we will enjoy 30 minutes to appreciate the flight of the Condors, and then arrive at PAMPA SAN MIGUEL starting our descent of 3 hours towards the community of SAN JUAN DE CHUCCHO where we will have lunch and stay with a local family where we can learn a little of their local customs.

SECOND DAY:
After our corresponding breakfast, at the indicated time we will continue our tour through the canyon, visiting the villages of COSÑIRHUA AND MALATA, after visiting these mysterious mountain villages, we will go to the OASIS DE SANGALLE, where we will arrive after 3 hours of walking. In SANGALLE we can relax and spend a refreshing day in the 20°C pools, then we will have our lunch, and in the afternoon to rest and enjoy nature. Then we will have a family dinner and we'll be sleeping in a basic lodge.

THIRD DAY:
Previously coordinating with the guide, we get up very early between 4:00 and 04:30am to start the hike up to the village of CABANACONDE 3 hours approximately, breakfast in CABANACONDE, then we go to views of the pre-Inca terraces ANTAHUILQUE then the VILLAGE OF MACA, and from there we go to the thermal baths YANQUE where we can enjoy its relaxing waters, after an estimated time we will return to CHIVAY.
We will have lunch at the time coordinated with the group, after a few minutes of rest we will return to the city of Arequipa, on the way back we will have the opportunity to visit the MIRADOR DE LOS ANDES (4910 m.a.s.l.) and the NATIONAL RESERVE OF SALINAS AND AGUADA BLANCA, arriving in the city of Arequipa at 05.30 p.m. approx. This is how we will end this fascinating adventure.
