- Morning Departure (8 am to 11 am)
The tour begins with a 30-minute drive in a vehicle, ascending up to 4,000 meters above sea level. Upon arrival at a local family's ranch, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast overlooking the imposing Licancabur Volcano. Here, you will discover the ancestral history that unites the llamas with the Pachamama and the Atacameño culture. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take photos, videos and spend time with the local family, while listening to unique stories about their bond with the land and animals.
- Afternoon Departure (6 pm to 9 pm)
In the afternoon option, we start at 3 pm with a visit to the town of Toconao, known as the "Pueblo de Piedra", famous for its orchards that sustain the fruit growing of the region. Afterwards, we head to the Jerez Valley, where you can observe ancient agricultural techniques inherited from our ancestors and admire the rock art on a 40-minute hike. As we move through the Bosque Viejo, you will be transported through the alleys used by the farmers, discovering the hidden stories of this enigmatic place.
We end the afternoon at the Salar de Atacama, home to numerous species of birds, including flamingos, which are an integral part of our Andean cosmovision. Here, we will tell you more about their cultural significance while enjoying a cocktail in this unforgettable landscape.
