Itinerary:
To visit the colorful mountain Vinicunca and Valle Rojo we will pass at 4:00 a.m. by you to your hotel to board our tourist transportation.
• We will head south of the city of Cusco to Quiquijana, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast
• After breakfast, we will continue our journey for a few more minutes and take a detour that takes us to the community of Chillihuani and to the checkpoint.
• After a few more minutes in the transport, we will arrive at Phulawasipata (vehicle parking), from where we will begin our excursion. Here you will have the option of renting horses to get to the mountain.
• Before starting the walk, our guide will recommend starting our adventure to La Montaña de Colores. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to observe magical landscapes, flora and fauna such as llamas, alpacas, vizcachas, vicuñas and even condors. Our great walk will be for approximately 2 hours to the Montaña de Colores or Montaña de 7 Colores, located at 5,082 meters above sea level. approximately.
• From the highest part of the mountain we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Vinicunca mountain with its glorious colors. Likewise, we will have the opportunity to see the Ausangate mountain (the fifth highest mountain in Peru, its maximum altitude is 6372 meters above sea level).
• After the visit to the red valley we will walk back to the vehicle parking lot, where our driver will wait for us (the same transportation that will take us to the mountain will return us to the city of Cusco).
