Experience Panama's beauty and history on our city tour during your layover. Visit the iconic Panama Canal, explore the Old Town's culture, and enjoy breathtaking views from the Amador Causeway.
The tour begins with the pickup of participants at Tocumen Airport, where a tour guide will greet them with a sign displaying their names. From there, the group will head to the imposing Panama Canal, one of the wonders of modern engineering. During the visit to the canal, participants will have the opportunity to learn about its history, operation, and witness the transit of ships through the locks.
Afterward, the tour will continue to the charming Casco Viejo, the old town of Panama City. Here, visitors will explore cobblestone streets, admire colonial architecture, and visit historical and cultural sites such as Independence Square and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
The last stop will be the Amador Causeway, a coastal area that offers spectacular views of the Panama City skyline and the Bridge of the Americas. Tickets for the Visitor Center of the Panama Canal have an additional cost of USD $17.22 per adult and USD $7.22 per child to be purchased at the Panama Canal. This stop is optional because there is a free observation area from Pedro Miguel Locks.
Round-trip transfer from PTY Tocumen International airport in Panama. Possible options: pick up from downtown of Panama City with drop off at the airport, or pick up at airport with drop off in downtown of Panama City.
