Departing from the newly built central station, you will be guided through city icons like the modernist shopping area of the Lijnbaan and the Timmerhuis, designed by the world famous architects of OMA. You will also encounter the Markthal, the most unique and fancy indoor market in Europe. Your guide will lead you through the daily life and history of the city where almost each building and square have a story. Once by the river Maas you can witness the high-end architecture developments on the opposite south bank and view the symbol of modern Rotterdam, the Erasmus bridge. The tour ends on the riverside.
