Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway, with a municipality that covers 465 square kilometers. Sitting on the peninsula of Bergenshalvøyen, its city center and northern neighborhoods are on Byfjorden, the "city fjord".
Bergen is also surrounded by mountains, a geographical feature which has earned it the nickname the "city of seven mountains". At the conclusion of your guided day out, your guide returns you to your tour starting point.
