Day 01: Lhasa Arrival [3650m]
Arrive in Lhasa, Tibet, and transfer to your hotel. Take it easy to acclimatize to the altitude. Explore the surroundings and adjust to the unique atmosphere of the city.
Day 02: Lhasa Sightseeing - Potala Palace & Jokhang Temple
Visit the iconic Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lama, dominating the city's skyline. Explore the Jokhang Temple, a sacred site for Tibetan Buddhists, and stroll around Barkhor Street to experience local culture.
Day 03: Lhasa Sightseeing - Drepung & Sera Monasteries
Explore the Drepung Monastery, once the world's largest monastery, and the Sera Monastery, known for its lively monk debates. Dive into the spiritual and historical aspects of Tibetan Buddhism.
Day 04: Lhasa to Shigatse [354Km, 3840m]
Embark on a picturesque drive to Shigatse, passing by the stunning Yamdrok-tso lake and witnessing the Karo-la glacier. Visit Pelkor Chode Monastery with its remarkable Kumbum Stupa.
Day 05: Shigatse to Everest North Face at Rongbuk [334Km, 5000m]
Explore Tashilhunpo Monastery, the seat of the Panchen Lama, before taking an eco-bus to Rongbuk Monastery. Marvel at the breathtaking views of Everest's North Face and, if permitted, visit Everest Base Camp.
Day 06: Rongbuk to Kyirong [400Km, 2800m]
Enjoy spectacular views of Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, and Peiku-to Lake as you drive to Kyirong. Immerse yourself in the Himalayan landscapes.
Day 07: Tibet Departure - Kyirong to Nepal Border [20Km] - Optional Transfer to Kathmandu [170Km]
Drive to the Nepal border in Kyirong, bid farewell to Tibet, and cross into Nepal. Optionally, transfer to Kathmandu, navigating through challenging road conditions for a thrilling journey.
Day 08: Departure
Transfer to the International Airport, or continue your holiday in Nepal or elsewhere.
