One of the most famous bungee jumping spots is the Bhote Koshi River gorge, where a suspension bridge serves as the platform for this heart-pounding adventure. Participants take a leap off the bridge, free-falling towards the roaring river below before experiencing the rebound of the bungee cord. The combination of breathtaking scenery and the adrenaline rush of the jump makes bungee jumping in Nepal an unforgettable adventure for thrill-seekers.
You leave Thamel at 6am on a nice bus with your fellow jumpers and those packed to stay a few nights. The journey is about 3.5 hours with a couple of tea-breaks along the way. When we reach the resort – you can see the bridge 5 minutes before arriving! – we’ll introduce you to the bungy staff, give you a safety briefing, weigh you and give you a time slot. Then all you have to do is maintain mental calm until your turn! And don’t forget lunch!
Before adding to your cart – consider doing bungy and swing for just $55 more. You can also stay over with lunch, dinner, and breakfast for $39 which is a great value and costs about the same as staying a night in Thamel.
