Paragliding in Kathmandu, offers an exhilarating experience with breathtaking views and a sense of adventure.
You will enjoy a scenic one-hour drive, admiring the landscapes, valleys, rivers, ancient and agricultural fields. Upon arrival, you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing where instructors explain the basic of paragliding; safety protocols, and what to expect during the flight. You are fitted with essential gear, including harness and helmet.

You can enjoy panoramic views of the Kathmandu valley, lush green landscapes and distant Himalayan peaks. Flight last from 15 to 30 minutes. You will experience a gentle landing usually in an open-field.

Itinerary:

Pickup begins in the early hours of the day at the Sanchayakosh building in Thamel or from your specific hotel. A one-hour trip from Thamel to Lapsifedi, Sankhu's Deurali (1905m). A brief intermission for tea or coffee and a scenic photo session.

After a little while, we shall take off for our flight. The flight will last for about 15 to 30 minutes, during which you can take in the breathtaking scenery and take some memorable pictures. You will then come to rest on the bottom (Patap).

You will be driven back to the top after making a safe landing at the bottom, which should take about 30 minutes. You will notice the way of life and culture of those who live there as you ascend. We'll then take a car back to Kathmandu after that.
