Begin the tour with a flight to Bhutan from Kathmandu, and enjoy an amazing vista of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, get driven to your hotel. Check in before heading out on a guided tour of Paro.
Visit various sites around the city including Dungste Lhakang, a 15th-century temple, Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery, the National Museum of Bhutan, and Kichu Lhakhang, Bhutan’s oldest temple. Stay overnight in Paro.
On Day 2, head toward Paro Taktsang, also known as the Tiger's Nest, built on a sheer cliff in the late 17th century. This monastery is where Guru Padmasambhava meditated for 3 years, 3 months, 3 weeks, 3 days, and 3 hours in the 8th century.
Take a 4- to 5-hour hike to get to the monastery, with lunch served at the restaurant located halfway up the mountain. At the summit, admire enchanting views of the Paro Valley before retracing your way down. Then, take a short drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city, for an overnight stay.

After breakfast on Day 3, set out to explore Thimphu on a guided sightseeing tour. See the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Bhutan’s traditional painting school, the folk heritage museum, a paper-making factory, and more.

Then, head out toward the Zilukha Nunnery on the outskirts of Thimphu. In the evening. drive toward Trashichhoe Dzong, also known as the “fortress of the glorious religion,” which is the center of government and religion in Bhutan.
Discover the monastic fortress and witness the monarch’s throne room and the throne of Je Khenpo or Chief Abbot. Later, head toward Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, which was reconstructed in the 1960s, another traditional iconic site in Bhutan. Stay overnight in Thimphu.

On the last day, check out of your hotel and get taken to the airport by the activity provider's representative. Then, board your return flight to Kathmandu, where the tour ends.
