Kathmandu: 15-Day Mountainous Manaslu Circuit Trek

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu (1400m/4600ft)
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport (altitude: 1400 meters / 4600 feet), you'll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Take the day to rest and prepare for your exciting trekking adventure.

Day 02: Trekking Preparation Day
This day is dedicated to preparing for your trek. You'll have a trekking briefing and get all the necessary permits and equipment sorted.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Machhe Khola (930m/3051ft) - 8/9 hours drive
Embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Machhe Khola, a beautiful village on the banks of the Budi Gandaki River.

Day 04: Machhe Khola to Jagat (1,340m/4396ft) - 6 hrs trek
Trek through Khola Besi and Tatopani, crossing the Budi Gandaki River via a suspension bridge. Reach Jagat, where special permits will be checked.

Day 05: Jagat to Deng (1,860m/6102ft) - 6 hrs trek
Pass through Sirdibas and Philim, experiencing the unique Buddhist culture and stunning views of the Ganesh Himal. Continue towards Deng.

Day 06: Deng to Namrung (2,630m/8638ft) - 6 hrs trek
Trek through an alpine region, passing Mani walls, and reach Namrung, a charming village known for its Tibetan culture.

Day 07: Namrung to Lho Village (3,180m/10433ft) - 6 hrs trek
Enjoy stunning views of the Pungen Glacier and Mount Manaslu. Pass through Tibetan villages and reach Lho, with its majestic views of Manaslu.

Day 08: Lho to Sama Gaun (3,530m/11581ft) - 6 hrs trek
Take in the views of Mount Manaslu and hike through Shyala village before arriving at Sama Gaun, the principal village of the Nubri people.

Day 09: Sama Gaun - Acclimatization, Hiking to Manaslu Base Camp or Puggyen Gompa
Take a rest day in Sama Gaun to acclimatize and hike to Manaslu Base Camp or Puggyen Gompa for breathtaking views.

Day 10: Sama Gaun to Samdo (3875m/12713ft) - 6 hrs trek
Pass through lush forests and experience the unique cultures of Nepal and Tibet, arriving at Samdo with awe-inspiring views of Manaslu Glacier.

Day 11: Samdo to Dharmasala (4460m/14632ft) - 6 hrs trek
Trek through dense forests and across rivers, immersing in the local cultures before reaching Dharmasala.

Day 12: Dharmasala to Bimthang (3590m/11775ft) - 6 hrs trek
Climb towards Larke Pass for stunning mountain views and descend to Bimphedi, traversing thin trails.

Day 13: Bimthang to Gho - 6 hrs trek
Enjoy the trek from Bimthang to Gho, immersing in the natural beauty.

Day 14: Gho to Dharapani and drive to Besisahar (760m/2493ft) - 4/5 hrs trek, 3 hrs drive
Trek to Dharapani and drive to Besisahar, a scenic town on the banks of the Marsyangdi River.

Day 15: Besisahar to Kathmandu/Pokhara by Bus - 8/9 hrs drive
Embark on a long drive back to Kathmandu or Pokahra, where you will be transferred to your hotel.
You'll bid farewell to the Manaslu region and drive back to Kathmandu.
Finally, you'll reflect on the incredible experiences and memories of your Manaslu trek.
