Try something new and learn to surf the waves of Scheveningen at The Hague Beach. Discover the basics of riding a surfboard and sink into the feeling of standing up as you glide over the Dutch wake. Perfect for both adults and children, bring your swimsuit and towel and enjoy a group lesson of up to 8 surfers.
Meet your instructor at The Hague Beach and learn the history of surfing and all about how to stay safe while learning to surf in the water. Afterward, take the change to stand up on a surfboard and allow the waves to whisk you away.
Try your best to steer left or right, or head straight as you feel the freedom of riding the wake. Allow yourself and your group to have fun as you build your confidence and master the basic skills. Don't worry if you fall off, it's all about having fun! Spend up to two hours with your group, and enjoy a day on the beach.

- A group-surf lesson will only continue if there is a big enough group of minimum 3 surfers
- The surf lesson can be canceled if there are no waves or there is a storm in Scheveningen
- The surf lesson is 2 hours for adults and 1.5 hours for kids and includes all the materials you need
- The only thing you need to bring is a towel and swimwear
- We can not guarantee German, French and Spanish speaking instructors at any available lesson time. Please contact us directly for the options.
- The group-surf lesson is with a maximum of 8 surfers and the private lessons have a maximum of 2 participants
The surf school will contact you if the lesson will be canceled due to weather
