The ultimate 4x4 desert adventure exploring breathtaking landscapes, endless sand dunes, animals, bird and plant life. Witness where the Namib desert and the Atlantic ocean comes together.
You will first be collected by your guide for the day, then head out on the adventure of a lifetime. Your adventure starts off in Walvis Bay lagoon witnessing
thousands of Greater and Lesser flamingos and other bird life such as Great White Pelicans, Caspian and Damara terns, as well as the Chestnut-banded Plover.
Afterwards you will have a scenic drive through the Walvis Bay salt works, beautiful pink lakes and witness more bird life.
Once we reach the ocean we will have an amazing 4x4 drive all along the beautiful Atlantic coast line towards Sandwich Harbour located in the Namib
Naukluft Park. This is where the Namib desert and Atlantic ocean come together.
Enjoy an unforgettable dune drive experience that allows the best photo opportunities and many stops on breathtaking view points and
sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic ocean.
Stop on top an amazing viewpoint and enjoy a light lunch, sparkling wine and refreshments overlooking the oldest desert in the world and desert landscapes.
On our way back to Walvis Bay you should keep an eye out for more bird life and possible desert animal encounters such as oryx, springbok, blacked-back jackal, ostrich and brown hyena.

Tours are not private or exclusive and may include other guests who are not a part of your group.
Due to weather conditions and tides, it is not always possible to reach the Sandwich Bay Lagoon along the beach. In these cases, your tour guide will drive to the top of the dune overlooking Sandwich Bay.
Please advise if booking has a special occasion such as a honeymoon, birthday or anniversary is being celebrated.
Please let us know if dietary requirements are needed.
We cater for all dietary requirements/allergies such as vegetarian, vegan or all cluten sensitivities.
We have 2 Tours available daily.

Pick up @ 7:30am until 12:30pm (Swakopmund)
Pick up @ 8:15am until 12:30pm (Walvis Bay)
Afternoon tours from:
Pick up @ 11:30am until 17:00pm (Swakopmund)
Pick up @ 12:15pm until 17:00pm (Walvis Bay)
Clients staying at Hotel or Guest House should wait at reception for pick up. Clients who stay at Air B&B, Self-catering, private home or camp sites should wait at gate.
