During this day, you will discover the most authentic roots of Oaxacan art, visiting four communities that preserve and celebrate their legacy through their hands.

Our first stop is San Bartolo Coyotepec, famous for its iconic black clay pottery. Here, you'll see up close how artisans mold this unique clay, creating elegant and timeless pieces with a technique passed down from generation to generation.

We continue on to San Antonino Velasco, a town known for its floral embroidery that seems to come to life on every garment. You will be amazed by the beauty and detail of the textiles that have been embellishing traditional Oaxacan clothing for centuries.

Next, we arrive at Santo Tomás Jalieza, where talented weavers work on backstrap looms. Watch how with patience and skill, the artisans create complex geometric designs and colorful textiles, perfect souvenirs of Oaxaca.

We end the tour in San Martin Tilcajete, home of the famous alebrijes. Here, you will have the opportunity to see how imagination comes to life in wood, as artists carve and paint fantastic creatures full of color and personality.
