Arrive at Chiapa de Corzo, an archaeological site of pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. Embark on a boat trip that will take you on a 2-hour ride down the river where the steep walls of the canyon tower overhead. Look out for stunning waterfalls, caves, and dramatic cliffs. The supplier also suggests bringing comfortable shoes and clothes, and sunglasses, as well as extra cash if you want to buy a souvenir or additional meals. Do not worry about wearing your swim suit as swimming is not allowed.
