Walk up the striking Tamarind Falls canyon, one of Mauritius' most popular attractions, led by an experienced mountaineer.
The first section of the walk will be through luscious rainforest, including a river crossing. Make sure to keep an eye out for the phenomenal and rare endemic birds, and plants.
Watch the connected waterfalls flowing and listen to the birds chirping as you climb up the canyon’s platforms and one rock-scrambling section. Along the way, your guide will tell you historical stories about Mauritius' past, and the significance of these falls.
Pause at any of the platform to take a dip in the waterfalls’ luscious waters. Take a moment to admire the breath-taking views surrounding you as you comfortably cool down.
Carry on walking up a few steep sections while you take in the deep canyon’s scenery beneath you. Try not to let your jaw drop too low as you see the intense beauty and nature Mauritius is so famous for, and make sure to snap some well-deserved photos.
